Adding to what Kevin said about shadows... If you are using strobes or tungsten sources, placing them at the side, down low, of your object will create some nice depth.

I e-filed my EAD and AP;but when I sent the supporting documentation to the PO Box in Mesquite,Texas;it was not delivered on Friday,a notice was left.I am very anxious if it comes back.Is there a Phone Number I can call to ask them Reason for Non-delivery;what should I do???Is there an address different from the PO Box where I can FEDEX

congrats! did you get an approval i.e 797 with i-94 or without it ? am in the same situation, my previous h1b was denied on mar10th 2009 (which was filed on march 24th 2008). i had a transfer to another company thru premium processing on 30th of march 2009 and got approval on april 21st.

Moonlighting will be acceptable easily as long as it's on the code internist. Problem is some fellowships are so demanding that you wont be able to moonlight as an internist. If you can figure this out smoothly and yr employer agrees nothing is better. Good thought.

This thing is driving me crazy...
Do we need to send an invitation letter in a .txt format? How do I send an invitation letter with letterhead and signature in a .txt format?
As far as I can remember this invitation letter part is only applicable if this is the first time someone is travelling to the US to study or work. I donot think this is needed if you have gone from the US to India for a vacation and are trying to get your visa renewed.
This is what I recollect. By the way I think you can send a Microsoft Word Document.

What are you saying? Health Services dismal? I thought it was better than US in many aspects. The cost is cheap for treatment (unless you have some uncommon disease. Since the system is churning up so many doctors, there is a lot of competition. Even in small villages you will find many doctors competing for patients. Maybe that is not true for everywhere, but that is what I have seen in my home state Haryana.
Also the education system may not be perfect, but kids don't have to go to private schools, because public schools have run out of capacity. There are problems like not all-around development, and not all kids doing great in studies. But that is true even in US, unless you are sending your kids to a fine private school (which by the way you can do in India, if you have money). JMHO

The health services in large parts of India is dismal and so is the public education system (K-12). With the left firmly controlling the ruling party, deregulation is slow and insipid, and it is the private sector which is basically contributing to the GDP and Competitiveness. I would invest the $1000 and speed up the transfer and forget about the whole issue after firing my salvo by responding to the letter. If you get something back, great. Thanks. I will go back and reshoot this and experiment a bit. The scene wasn't lit by harsh light - high cloud as I recall. I actually deepended the shadows intentionally in the PS CS2 RAW converter - the original wasn't as contrasty. What is interesting is that while the actual exposure of the blown area should be well within tolerances (If I were still shooting B&W film I would have guessed it at around zone 8) it is just the one colour that is blown - and yellow is not one of the 3 channels so it must have actualy been 2 colours. I will have to keep an eye on my histogram display because I don't have the $ for a 1DSMkII!
Digital SLRs are like slide film - the dynamic range is more limited than negative film. FWIW, when you end up with detail-less yellows, the red channel is probably the one that has blown. Good luck with your tests. :)

The reason for rushing the application is that it could retrogress midway during the month of July. It may seem unlikely but you never know. That's one reason to file it as early as possible.
But i did not know the attorney would like to file it in June for me. I just wanted to find out if anyone's sent it early and received receipt.
It doesn't matter if it retrogress midway during the month of July, USCIS must accept ALL otherwise eligible I485s filed by July 31. While Priority Dates could retrogress say in August, USCIS will adjudicate I-485 applications that were filed prior to retrogression only if the individual�s Priority Date is current at the time they review it. For example, if your Priority Date is EB-3 06/01/2006 and the August 2007 Visa Bulletin retrogresses that category�s date to 04/02/2006, USCIS will continue to hold your pending I-485 but will not process it until your 06/01/2006 Priority Date becomes current again. Therefore, one�s Priority Date (the date the Labor Certification Application was filed) will likely again supercede the filing date of the I-485. While it is important to file the I-485 by July 31, it is probable that no advantage will be gained on the basis of one having been filed earlier than another.

Both compositions have different things going for them - I think I lean slightly towards the dark one... Though I also feel the first one would have looked better to me if it had been a bit sharper in the centre (and the second, which does seem sharp enough at the top of the bloom, if the DOF had been a little wider) ??
